For a couch pickup, identify whether the piece is a standard sofa, sleeper sofa, reclining couch, or sectional. Count each detachable section and include the ottoman if it needs to go. A sleeper mechanism or powered recliner can change handling even when two sofas look similar in a photo.

Dressers, tables, desks, and entertainment centers

Empty drawers and cabinets before the appointment. Mention glass shelving, stone tops, wall attachments, and oversized dimensions. If a piece was assembled in the room and cannot pass through the doorway, discuss disassembly before scheduling.

Replacing furniture or clearing a room?
